10" Tuna Worms

We designed Tuna Worms specifically with the tuna fishery in mind. They incorporate a tapered split tail that introduces an enticing swimming action to trigger bites. The upper portion of the Tuna Worms profile has a lifelike scale pattern that also creates little vibrations and disruptions in the water as the Tuna Worm is pulled through it. Tuna Worms are made out of a lightweight elastic soft plastic that is virtually unbreakable.    

Jigging: Tuna Worms can be put on a variety of different style jig heads to be casted or jigged vertically. We highly recommend adding Tuna Worms to your jig and pop arsenal especially for those bluefin and yellowfin bites. We have also seen great results putting these  Tuna Worms on slightly lighter jig heads ranging between 1-3 ounces and casting them into weed lines or polyballs for mahi. Both the green and blue metallic flake color options have been an extremely effective mahi bait. 

Trolling: Tuna Worms are a great artificial alternative to use in place of ballyhoo or eel. They can be pulled bind joe shutes and seawitches in place of ballyhoo which eliminates the need to prep as much bait. Bluefin tuna absolutely demolish these Tuna Worms behind joe shutes ranging from 3-8 ounces. We have also seen great results enticing bites from marlin, mahi, and wahoo as well. Pretty much anything you would put a ballyhoo behind you can put a Tuna Worm behind.  

Other Applications: While tuna were the primary focus of designing these baits we have also used them for a variety of other species with great results. Tuna Worms can be pulled behind mojo's or other skirted heads for trophy sized striped bass. They can also be casted or jigged behind weighted jig heads for striper, cobia, red drum, bluefish, albacore, and just about any other prey driven species.
